Lance Doughty, B.Sc.

Lance Doughty brings over 40 years’ experience of blue chip organizations and serves as an Executive Team Mentor in Ei World client projects.

Lance has a background in business and IT transformation with a number of blue chip organisations including Rolls-Royce Aero Engines, Geac Computers and The Bank Of England. He has devised strategies, built high-performing teams, coached senior executives and driven large-scale change across a wide range of industries, including numerous international assignments.

Lance spent almost 25 years with the global business and IT consultancy Capgemini, where he rose to their most senior leadership rank of Executive Vice President. He held a range of senior appointments including Head of Digital for the UK, Account Executive for a major motor manufacturer across Europe, and CEO of Infrastructure services across Scandinavia and Finland. He has experience of setting strategies for multi-million divisions, leading large sales teams successfully, and implementing complex change programmes.

As one of Capgemini’s most experienced global programme leads, Lance was called upon to review and devise course correction for a wide range of projects across Europe and North America. He also became involved in human resources matters, acting as executive sponsor for programmes including Graduate Recruitment, where he devised a new strategy for the UK, and Diversity & Inclusion, a subject on which he coached senior executives.

He served two terms on the governing council of Aston University in England. Here he supported the most senior appointments (including Vice Chancellor/CEO), advised on estates investment/finance strategy, and assisted on IT strategy, also serving on the Audit Committee. Subsequently Lance provided strategy and change management coaching to a Russell Group university.

Lance has a BSc from Queen Mary College, London University. He lives in the Cotswolds region of England.
